As an independant City-State of about 10 million souls Katakana boasts its own intricate method with dealing with those of its citizens who do not adhere to its laws.

The following lists the law enforcement bodies in Katakana.

K.P.F.: Katakana Police Force.
@@@@@@@This is the body of armed men and women who uphold the laws of the Triumvirate on an every day basis among the citizens of Katakana. It is their duty to bring before the local courthouses those deviants who stray from the straight and narrow.

They can be easily recognized by their dark blue and white uniforms.

K.A.S.: Katakana Armed Services.
@@@@@@@This is the Katakana military. From bomb-disposal experts to tank drivers, these people are responsible for keeping Katakana safe from attacks from outside influences. They also hold the guard over the border gates in the Great Wall of the city.

Due to their abbreviation, they are also often referred to as the 'cassies' and their uniforms are dark green fatigues with a beret of the color of their specific decision. For example gate guards where yellow berets.

K.M.S.: Katakana Marine Services.
@@@@@@@As Katakana boats a long portion of beachfront, it is not surprising that besides a blooming sea-trade, a formidable armada of battle-ships also graces the docks.

Marine uniform is white, grey, and light blue.

T.A.F.o.K.: Triumvirate Air Force of Katakana.
@@@@@@@These worthy people watch over Katakana from the skies. Their airships are among the finest in the world and they are fiercely proud of this fact.

The uniforms of the air services are black and white, earning them the nick-name: 'magpies', or 'maggies'.

K.M.o.D.: Katakana Ministry of Defense.
@@@@@@@ This is effectually the secret service of Katakana. The role of this government body includes intel (spying), tagging (also spying), regulating the police force and land, air, and marine services, not to mention the District Courthouses. It headquarters can be found in the Governmental District of Katakana, right next the the Triumvirate Tower.

T.G..: Triumvate Guard.
@@@@@@@This is the separate guard of the Senate and the Triumvirate This is a very select branch of the armed forces which come under the direct command of the K.M.o.D. itself.

Their uniform is black, as such their nick-named: 'all-blacks'.

Each body has its own area of interest and expertise, not to mention separate funds. All come under the 'ruling' of the Katakana Supreme Judge, who in turn answers to the Triumvirate. Each District of Katakana has its own District Judge and courthouse.

The Levels of Appeal.

Once someone is accused of a crime, they may run through the following levels of judgment.
